PURUWA - Virtual Blinded Concert

WHAT IS IT?

It is a holophonic (binaural) recording of the work PURUWA - Sensed Concert, simulating as much as possible the piece that we usually perform in different places when we are not locked up in quarantine. Follow the instructions so that you can live the experience as if you were there, in the middle of the play where the musicians and actors surround you.

WHAT IS HOLOPHONIC RECORDING? 

Holophonic (or binaural) is a recording method that uses a special microphone (in the shape of a human head) to capture the sound just as you would sense it being there. You need to listen to it with headphones so you can feel how the artists move around you. If you close your eyes you can let your imagination fly as if you were in other places.

WHAT DO I NEED? 

Anyone from anywhere in the world (with a medium-stable internet connection and a pair of headphones) can be part of this experience by registering your attendance here (RESERVAR ENTRADAS) to receive the link and instructions in your email. If you have the possibility, we also recommend you to prepare some sensory textures to feel during the experience (plants, fruits, spices).

CAN I INVITE SOMEONE ELSE?

You can invite as many people as you want. The objective is to spread this experience to as many people who you think might be interested or in need of the experience, forming part of the overall experience.

WHEN CAN I EXPERIENCE THE CONCERT AND HOW LONG DOES IT RUN?

The experience is now available online for an indefinite period of time so you can enjoy it again and again and share it with your family or friends. The duration of the experience is 1 hour.

DOES IT HAVE ANY COST? 

It is free to access and has no cost because as artists we know that the current crisis has everyone concerned about their economic future. We believe that it is important to share the good experiences of life with people who need it (not only in times of crisis), and to provide, even for just a little while, some positivity and good vibes in the face of so much negativity.
